Duncan City Council swearing-in ceremony held

    Three Duncan officials took their oaths of office recently.

    The Duncan City Council swore into office Ward 3 Councilman-Elect David Leonard, Ward 4 Councilman Gene Brown and Finance Director/ City Clerk/Treasurer Billie Strutton during a special meeting May 5 at the Duncan Police Complex, according to a news release from the city. The council also elected Ward 2 Councilman Nick Fischer as vice mayor for 2025-2026.

    Municipal Judge Joe Enos performed the swearing-in ceremonies, with family and friends gathered in celebration, according to the news release.
