From staff reports DUNCAN – Duncan Police Department officers recently received C2CReset Achievement flags upon graduating from Faith in Action Inc., a faith-based holistic health coaching program which provides first responders with strategies for mental health, wellness and weight loss.
“I recently had the honor of taking eight members of the Duncan Police Department through our 13-week course,” said Brian Wellbrock, founder of C2CReset. “Collectively, the eight participants lost more than 170 pounds and saw dramatic improvements in overall health and stress management.
“Having worked with law enforcement agencies all over the country, I can say the dedication and level of participation among the officers at Duncan Police Department was amazing. Every person who started finished, with lasting results physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The community of Duncan is truly blessed to have such an amazing team of brave men and women. They genuinely care about their community!”
Chief of Police Brian Attaway, who graduated from the program, said: “This course was extremely challenging mentally and physically. I couldn’t be prouder of our class and the achievements we made that will make us better police officers for the citizens of Duncan. It challenged us in all aspects of life, and we all grew mentally, physically and spiritually.
“The instructor, Brian Wellbrock, is a wealth of information and remained incredibly encouraging for each one of us during the entire course. I offer my congratulations to Lieutenant Parker, Sergeant Lard, Officer Burchfield, Detectives Hicks and Newman, and Sergeants Arnold and Smith for their dedication to this program and their commitment to our community.”
