Duncan voters to consider 2 ballot measures

From staff reports Duncan voters will consider two ballot proposals when they go to the polls this month. One proposal would extend the city’s sales tax for infrastructure improvements and economic- development projects for another five years.

The second proposal would renew Public Service Co.’s franchise agreement with the city for another 25 years.

Early voting will be available from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. June 13 and 14, and from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. June 15, at the Stephens County Election Board, 1075 W. Elm Ave. in Duncan.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Election Day.
