From staff reports Early voting starts June 13 and is open to all Comanche County voters, Comanche County Election Board Secretary Amy Sims said in a news release.
“You do not need to provide an excuse to vote early,” she said. “Oklahoma allows early voting for all elections conducted by the county election board or state election board – from school board and municipal elections to state and federal elections. This is a great option for those who will be out of town Election Day or who want to avoid long lines.”
Early voting will be available from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. June 13 and 14, and from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. June 15, at the Comanche County Courthouse, 315 SW Fifth St. in Lawton. Early voting is not available at polling locations.
Some voters may need assistance to vote because they are blind or visually disabled, physically disabled or infirm, or illiterate. Those voters may request an assistant, or they may vote privately and independently using the ATI device attached to the voting device.
Voters who require assistance should talk to their precinct official or contact the county election board directly for instructions.
For questions, contact the election board at (580) 353-1880 or email comanchecounty@ elections.ok.gov. Voters may also visit the state election board’s website at www.elections.ok.gov. 1.5” X 3.7”
