Early voting begins Thursday, Sept. 9, in Comanche County. Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on election day may vote early at the Comanche County Election Board.
Early voting is open to all voters, Election Board Secretary Amy Sims said in a news release.
“You do not need to provide an excuse to vote early,” she said. “Oklahoma allows early voting for all elections conducted through the State Election Board – from school board and municipal elections to state and federal elections. This is a great option for those who will be out of town on Election Day or who want to avoid long lines.”
Early voting is available from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, and Friday, Sept. 10, at the election board, 315 SW Fifth St. in Lawton.
Sims reminded voters that early voting is not available at polling locations.
The election board is open from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you have questions, contact the election board at 580-353-1880 or ComancheCounty@elections.ok.gov.
