LAWTON – Firehouse Subs restaurant in Lawton recently raised $350 for the Lawton Police Department. Those funds will be used to help finance events including the Cops and Kids Picnic, Junior Citizens Police Academy and the Citizens Police Academy.

The police department appreciates Firehouse Subs’ support, said Police Sgt. Dustin Dyer.

“The Lawton Police Department is blessed to have them as a sponsor,” said Dyer. “This fundraiser event was their idea and part of their month of giving for September. The money they raised for us today will go out to build positive relationships within our community and help bridge gaps between the community and officers.”

Those who would like to contribute to the cause can make donations to FOP Lodge 98.
