From staff reports SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Georgia-based company Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. was recently awarded a contract from the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center for C-20 and C-37 fleets, the company said in a news release.
The seven-year contract provides services for the Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Army and Coast Guard.
“For nearly 60 years, Gulfstream has been a trusted partner to governments and military organizations worldwide, and we are honored that the U.S. Air Force has once again selected our company to support the U.S. military's fleet,” said Gulfstream President Mark Burns. “This demonstrates the strength of our world-class customer support network and its ability to support all of our customers’ missions.”
The contract is valued at $991 million and includes a wide variety of support, such as global maintenance, component overhaul, repairs and modifications, the company said. Gulfstream Customer Support will perform the work at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland; Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii; Ramstein Air Base, Germany; Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay; and Naval Base Ventura County, California.
