OKLAHOMA CITY – One of two men indicted Jan. 8 by a federal grand jury here for feloniously being in possession of two firearms is under a protective order issued in Lawton.

Martavious Arnez Gross and Nathan R. Rollins Jr. are accused of being in possession on Dec. 11, 2019, of a .40-caliber pistol and an AR-15 rifle that “crossed state lines to reach” Oklahoma. Gross is charged with being a “prohibited person” in possession of firearms. He was the subject of a domestic violence protective order issued July 11, 2019, in Comanche County District Court, “restraining him from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner...” Rollins is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. Conviction on the gun charge could result in a maximum 10-year prison sentence and/or a $250,000 fine for each defendant, documents issued by the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma indicate. Both men were lodged in the Grady County Jail at Chickasha last Wednesday.
