OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma Insurance Department recently promoted two employees to key roles, the agency said in a news release.

Donna Dorr became the agency’s director of consumer assistance, and Teresa Green was named deputy general counsel.

Dorr began her tenure at the agency in 1995 and has spent most of her time as a life and health analyst, according to the news release. Most recently, she served as a senior claims reviewer and processor, handling the external review process and training incoming life and health analysts.

Green joined the agency in 2018 and has served as assistant general counsel, according to the news release. Last year, she served briefly as assistant commissioner of licensing services and policy counsel. She returned to the legal division in late 2020.

Green graduated from the Oklahoma City University College of Law.

“I am very excited to have Donna and Teresa in these important roles,” Insurance Commissioner Glen Mulready wrote in the news release. “They are dedicated employees who lead by example in everything they do, and I look forward to working with them as we continue our mission to serve and protect Oklahoma consumers.”

The new positions became effective Feb. 1.
