OKLAHOMA CITY – A southwest Oklahoma company won a contract to repave several miles of SH-7 near Duncan.
The highway will be resurfaced with asphalt from 7.6 miles east of the US-81 junction, extending east for eight miles.
The Oklahoma Transportation Commission awarded a $1,494,239 contract on the project to T&G Construction of Lawton, the lowest of three bidders for the project. The contractor was given 60 days to complete the job after a work order is issued.
That section of highway carries approximately 3,500 vehicles per day, research indicates.
