Washington, D.C. – Megan Trantham has been named as a Field Representative in Congressman Frank Lucas’ Canadian County Office.

A Boise City, Oklahoma, native, Trantham graduated from Oklahoma State University in May 2019 from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources where she majored in Agricultural Communications and Agribusiness. As Field Representative, she will serve Cimarron, Texas, Beaver, Harper, Ellis, Dewey, Roger Mills, Custer, Beckham, Washita, Caddo, Greer, Kiowa, Harmon, and Jackson counties.

“It’s my great pleasure to welcome Megan to Team Lucas,” said Congressman Lucas. “The daughter of a wheat farmer and cattle rancher and a conservationist in the Oklahoma Panhandle, Megan brings a tremendous amount of know-how to our staff and will surely serve the people of Western Oklahoma well.” Trantham previously served as a press assistant in Governor Kevin Stitt’s office. “It’s an honor to work for Congressman Lucas,” Trantham said. “Western Oklahoma is my home and I look forward to serving the people of Oklahoma’s Third District.”

Trantham is the daughter of a first-generation farmer and third-generation rancher. With a background centered around the agricultural community, Trantham has a desire to tell the stories and legacies of the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and even sixth generation.
