OKLAHOMA CITY – A medical marijuana operation in the OKC metro area suspected of selling its product out-of-state was raided by Oklahoma law enforcement officers “tipped off” by investigators in Kansas.

Agents of the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control executed a search warrant at Greenhouse Remedies off Reno Avenue in Midwest City on April 13.

During the search agents seized several hundred pounds of processed marijuana, more than 300 cultivated plants, cash, and several firearms, including assault rifles and pistols, at least one of which was identified as a stolen weapon, OBNDD spokesman Mark Woodward said. Agents also found a pound of cocaine locked inside a safe, he said.

The dispensary was “being used as front for criminal activity,” Woodward said. Greenhouse Remedies is licensed under the name Firehouse Farms LLC as a dispensary and a grower, Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority records show

“It appears they were using this location to grow, package and transport marijuana” to the black market, Woodward said. “Our investigators traced large loads of marijuana from this location trafficked into Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, Illinois and Georgia.”

It is illegal to sell Oklahoma medical marijuana out-of-state, he noted.

One person was arrested; Grail Pendarvis, 50, was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail. More arrests are expected as the investigation continues, Woodward said.

Law enforcement officers in Kansas informed the OBNDD about the illegal marijuana operation in Midwest City, Woodward said. “They intercepted a load of marijuana on a traffic stop, and they traced it back to this particular location.”
