ODOT seeks public input on improvement projects

From staff reports OKLAHOMA CITY–The Oklahoma Department ofTransportation is encouraging public input on the state’s transportation prioritization for the fiscal years of ‘24 - ‘27.

The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program is a federally required document detailing a list of regionally important construction projects over the next four fiscal years. Oklahoma is planning highway projects, listed in its Eight-year ConstructionWork Plan, based on federal and state funding for the program.

The STIP includes the first four years of this eight-year plan and federally funded projects by the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments representing the Oklahoma City area, theTulsa area’s Indian Nations Council of Governments, the Lawton Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Chisolm Trail MPO, and the Frontier Metropolitan Planning Organization in the Fort Smith, Arkansas area. The FFY 2024, 2027 STIP can be viewed at www.odot.org through the “Programs and Projects” tab and then clicking “Transportation Programs.”
