Olustee to purchase equipment

OLUSTEE – The Olustee Board of Trustees recently voted to buy a new backhoe from OCT Equipment. The board voted 3-0 on March 11 to accept OCT’s $75,000 bid for a 2018 Case backhoe, according to a copy of the minutes. Trustees Linda Lopez and Alicia Walker were absent. Town officials had test-driven the backhoe in OCT’s bid, which will fit on the town’s trailer if it needs work, according to the minutes.
