LAWTON – United Way of Southwest Oklahoma will host its 4th Annual Blue Tie Gala on Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, at the Lawton Hilton Garden Inn.
This year’s theme is “Havana Nights,” and will feature a festive menu, silent and live auctions, and live entertainment by the high energy 8-piece band “The Royal Dukes.” Tickets to the 4th Annual Blue Tie Gala are $75 each and may be purchased online at http://www. uwswok.org/2019-blue-tie-gala, or by calling the UWSWOK office at 580.355.0218.
Additionally, this year’s Gala will also include a vacation raffle, and the lucky winner will choose between two amazing getaways: a trip to Napa Valley to explore wine country, and the opportunity to attend “The Players” Championship in Jacksonville, Fla. The Blue Tie Gala marks the beginning of the United Way’s Annual Giving Campaign, which raises funds to benefit 22 human service programs through 17 local funded partner organizations that provide education services, health services, basic needs and encourage income stability. In 2018 alone, over 87,000 individuals benefited.
