Tillman County lease-purchases new grader

FREDERICK – The Tillman County Board of Commis sioners recently authorized the county to en ter into a lease-purchase agreement for a new motor grader.

The board voted 3-0 March 4 to approve a le ase-purchase agreement with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for a 2024 CAT 140JY motor grader, said Tillman County Clerk Cacy Caldwell. The motor grader will cost $328,746, which will come o ut of the County Road Machinery and Equipment Revolving Fund.

The board also approved an ODOT claim form for payment to Warren CAT, an Oklahoma City-based Caterpillar equipment dealership, for the motor grader, Caldwell said.
