LAWTON — Cameron University will mark Veterans Day with a two-day event focused on organizations that offer support to veterans, active-duty soldiers and their families.

The Veterans Resource Fair will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Nov. 8 and 9 on the first floor of the McMahon Centennial Complex, located at University Drive and D Avenue. Visitor parking is available across the street.

The event will put military families in touch with local, state and federal organizations that can offer them assistance.

“Cameron University’s Veterans Resource Fair is designed to offer information about a wide-ranging variety of military/veteran-related organizations,” said Vicki Henson, assistant director of finance assistance services and coordinator of veterans affairs, in a news release. “We look forward to hosting veterans from across southwest Oklahoma.”
