Friday is the last day to apply for voter registration for the March 7 election on State Question 820, initiative petition number 434, legalizing recreational marijuana, according to the Comanche County Election Board.
Persons who are not registered to vote or need to change their registration information may do so by filling out and mailing an Oklahoma voter registration application form postmarked no later than midnight Friday.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the upcoming election is 5 p.m. Feb. 20.
These applications may be found by using the OK Voter Portal access at elections.ok.gov. The absentee application can be filled out online and will be emailed to the Comanche County Election Board office. Voter registration applications must be printed and mailed or brought into the Election Board office, located at 315 SW Fifth St., Room 206, Lawton.
