WD-40 sees profit for 2nd quarter

SAN DIEGO (AP) – WD-40 Co. (WDFC) on Thursday reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $14.3 million.

The San Diego-based company said it had net income of $1.04 per share.

The maintenance and cleaning product company posted revenue of $100 million in the period.

WD-40 shares have declined 9.5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $175.65, an increase of almost 2% in the last 12 months.
