Construction is underway on the newest ornament at the state Capitol, the grand arch. The arch, located on the south side of the Capitol, honors Oklahoma’s 45th Division of the National Guard. Construction was authorized last year in House Bill 4012 and is expected to cost more than $4.3 million. Public and private funds are being used.
