US Senators try to block Biden admin’s new power plant rules

Oklahoma U.S. Sens. James Lankford and Markwayne Mullin were among those who stepped up to the plate in fighting the Biden administration’s new EPA regulations intended to shut down American power plants.They filed a Congressional Review Act joint resolution of disapproval.

Bolen, Burtrum reappointed to state Board of Agriculture

The Oklahoma State Senate reapproved and confirmed Brent Bolen and Clay Burtrum as members of the State Board of Agriculture on June 5. Bolen and Burtrum were originally appointed by Gov. Kevin Stitt and confirmed by the Oklahoma Senate in 2020. They will serve another fouryear term.
