Tillman County Sheriff Ingram dies after wreck

Tillman County Sheriff William “Bill” Ingram died following a motorcycle wreck late Saturday night.“I can confirm Bill Ingram passed away last night after being transported to OU Medical (Center) for injuries sustained after a motorcycle crash,” saidTillman County Undersheriff Michael Ebner.

Road, street signs a popular target of thieves

Apparently the summer vacation mischief is underway in southwest Oklahoma.Thefts of several street and traffic control signs have been reported in Comanche and Stephens counties lately.Sign theft is “a recurring problem” in Lawton, said Caitlin Gatlin, the city’s communications manager.
