Bank sues ATM maker, insurer

Bank of Oklahoma has sued the company that manufactured hundreds of automated teller machines (ATMs) it sold the Tulsa-based financial institution, claiming the devices were “easily breached by malware attacks”. BOKF, NA (National Association) also sued Continental Insurance Co.

Ex-Army training manager guilty of accepting bribes

OKLAHOMA CITY – A former Army training manager pleaded guilty in Western District federal court here to accepting a bribe as a public official. A federal grand jury returned a 12-count indictment May 3 against Alfred Palma, 64, of Duncan, and co-defendant Candy Hanza, 50, of Lawton.

Vote to close Talihina Veterans Center sparks terse reactions from lawmakers

OKLAHOMA CITY — Though Oklahoma is close to opening two new long-term veterans care facilities, the closure of the existing Talihina Veterans Center – before its replacement is open – generated a harsh rebuke from several state lawmakers.
