A raging fire erupted around 1 p.m. Oct. 18 at a warehouse located in Ninnekah, just south of U.S. Highway 81 and State Highway 19; an estimated 1,500 to 2,000 pallets of ethanol-laced hand sanitizer were stored at the site formerly occupied by H&B Machine & Manufacturing. Boiling smoke was visible from Interstate 44. (Ledger photo by Steve Booker)
