DUNCAN – Gov. Kevin Stitt pumped up some faithful Republicans Saturday as he spoke at the 18th annual Stephens County Fish Fry fundraiser, which is one of the largest GOP events in Oklahoma.

CorpComm announces staff changes

OKLAHOMA CITY — Brandy Wreath, longtime director of the Public Utility Division of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, has been appointed the agency’s interim Director of Administration effective June 2, Commission Chair Dana Murphy announced Friday.

FORT SILL – The B.O.S.S. House, a new meeting place for the Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers program and a place where Army personnel training at Fort Sill can relax and unwind, opened May 13 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. “It’s a place for Soldiers to get information about B.O.S.S.

A lot of drinking during pandemic

Research performed at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health showed that sales at alcohol retail stores during the first three quarters of 2020, during the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, increased by 20% over the first three quarters of 2019.
