OKLAHOMA CITY – If you’re stunned by the cost of a new vehicle, there’s even more to consider than the sticker price. The latest research from the American Automobile Association (AAA) calculates the average annual cost of owning a new vehicle at $9,666, or $805.50 per month.

TULSA – In preparation for new and innovative lighting systems, Public Service Co. of Oklahoma (PSO) announced Tuesday it will be conducting a physical inventory of streetlights in all 232 cities and towns the company serves.

LAWTON —Comanche County Commissioners delayed action Monday on the Pecan Valley Water Works Association’s request to organize a water district. The board voted unanimously to table the issue until the next meeting, following a public hearing on the company’s petition.

CCMH COVID cases spike

LAWTON – Comanche County Memorial Hospital’s COVID-19 patient population increased by 19% in a single day leaving healthcare officials tasked to find enough beds for everyone. “We have no COVID unit and they’re not all in ICU,” said hospital spokeswoman Nicole Jolly.
