The T-intersection of US- 81 and SH-7 three miles south of Marlow is the focus of a $248,245 contract awarded to Freese and Nichols, Inc.

Business index rising; Okla. 6th in region

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Mid-America Business Conditions Index climbed to 69.6 in February, its highest level since October and second-highest since April 2004, but is still about 3.5% below pre-COVID levels. And inflation has begun to appear in the construction industry and at the fuel pump.

Change to phosphorus standard proposed

Crop report: Drought levels stay unchanged

Rainfall totals averaged 0.16 of an inch across Oklahoma the week of March 2-7, with the north-central district recording the highest totals at 0.51 of an inch.
Drought conditions were rated 31% abnormally dry to exceptional drought, the same as the previous week, according to the March 4 U.S.
