OKLAHOMA CITY — Cities and towns in Oklahoma may soon be able to pass ordinances that allow the painting of blue lines and posting of signs supporting law enforcement. Senate Bill 834, authored by former lawman Darrell Weaver, R-Moore, was approved by the full Senate on February 10.

OKLAHOMA CITY – A legislative panel endorsed a measure that would add a day to in-person absentee voting prior to a Presidential election, and turned thumbs down on eliminating straight-party voting.

MARLOW – A Marlow woman remained in the Stephens County jail after a tip led law enforcement officers to uncover a dead body and a “disgusting” puppy mill on her property.
