OSSAA rejects reopening plan

In a decision that caught many people off-guard, the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association board of directors rejected their own association’s reopening proposal Friday. The plan called for a slow reintegration of high school sports in three phases that would have begun June 1.

Governor signs juvenile justice protection bill

OKLAHOMA CITY – The governor signed a bill to protect children ages 12 and younger from being placed in a state juvenile detention facility unless all alternatives have been exhausted and the child is charged with an offense that would be classified as a felony if committed by an adult.
