Chickasha Police Chief ‘G.G.’ Music retired Friday

Chickasha Police Chief Goebel “G.G.” Music retired last Friday after more than 28 years of service to Chickasha citizens as a law enforcement officer. He began serving the CPD as a reserve officer in April 1996 until he was sworn in as a patrol officer on May 1, 1998.

Forum begins fact-finding on future of homeless encampment

LAWTON – Community leaders, service providers and residents gathered Thursday to begin a fact-finding process aimed at developing recommendations for the future of the city’s homeless encampment.The Homeless Encampment Community Action Forum began at 9 a.m.
