BancFirst's Q3 results miss Street forecasts

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – BancFirst Corp. (BANF) on Thursday reported third-quarter profit of $20.9 million.

The bank, based in Oklahoma City, said it had earnings of 63 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 75 cents per share.

BancFirst shares have fallen 29% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $44.31, a decline of 21% in the last 12 months.
