LAWTON – The online community survey for the city’s Parks Master Plan has been extended through June 18.
“This survey allows citizens to provide details on their opinions about parks, trails, recreation facilities, programs, and parks and recreation services,” Lawton Community Relations Director Tiffany Vrska said.
The survey was mailed to randomly selected households in February and March. If a resident has already completed the mailed survey, his/
her input has already been collected, she said.
“Now this survey is available to all,” Vrska said. Master Plan contractors and city staff “will have the best idea of what is important to community members with the more surveys that are completed. A link and QR code to the survey can be found at https:// lawtonparksplan.com/news.
“This will be a 20-year master plan, so it is important to truly understand the wants, needs and expectations of our community,” Vrska said. “The information we receive will shape Lawton’s future in a major way.”
