LAWTON – Lawton’s former deputy city manager, Richard Rogalski, will serve as a consultant for the FISTA Development Trust Authority.
The authority voted unanimously Sept. 6 to approve a professional services agreement with Rogalski, who retired from City Hall in July. Under the agreement, he will act as an adviser concerning management and development of FISTA facilities and retail space in Central Plaza or other locations as requested.
The authority will pay Rogalski $100 per hour for his work on FISTA-related issues, which will be billed by invoice on the first day of each month, according to the engagement letter. Out-of-pocket costs for items including mileage will be included in monthly invoices and payable in addition to the hourly fee.
“My office will work diligently on all work requested and will keep trustees informed regarding the progress of work,” Rogalski said in the engagement letter. “The Authority’s requests to complete work will need to be made with a reasonable lead time before the completion of work is needed by any deadlines or other time constraints and take into account my schedule and commitments.”
As the deputy city manager, Rogalski had worked with the FISTA Authority since it was created in January 2021.
