LAWTON – The city’s Streets and Bridges Council Committee recently approved a list of road projects for the Lawton City Council to consider.
The projects on the list are all eligible for repaving using a process known as mill and overlay, but the list does not include any major road repairs.
Here’s the list, according to City Hall. The list includes the council ward where the project is located.
1. Northeast Cache Road from Northeast Flower Mound Road to Northeast 45th Street. Ward 4.
2. Northwest 17th Street from West Gore Boulevard to Northwest Ferris Avenue. Ward 5.
3. Northwest 53rd Street from Northwest Cache Road to West Gore. Wards 3 and 8.
4. Northwest 31st Street from West Gore to Northwest Arlington Avenue. Ward 3.
5. Northwest Sixth Street from West Gore to Northwest Ferris. Ward 5.
6. Southwest Bishop Road from Southwest 11th Street to Southwest Sixth Street. Ward 7.
7. Northwest Willow Creek Drive from Northwest Micklegate Boulevard to Northwest 76th Street. Ward 6.
8. Northwest Pollard Avenue from Northwest 42nd Street to Northwest 46th Street. Ward 1.
9. Southwest Crystal Hills Drive from West Gore to Southwest 76th Street. Ward 8.
10. Northeast Rogers Lane from East Cache Creek to Northeast Flower Mound. Ward 2.
