Among the 32 bills Pae has authored or co-sponsored in the current legislative session, the need to address artificial intelligence is present in multiple bills.
Pae has also authored HB 3582, which would allow for motorcycle lane filtering under certain conditions. Lane filtering is defined in the bill text as the act of a two-wheeled motorcycle overtaking and passing another vehicle or vehicles that are stopped in the same lane and direction of travel as the overtaking motorcycle.
It also states that an operator of a twowheeled motorcycle may engage in lane filtering when: a. the operator of the motorcycle is on a roadway with lanes that are wide enough to pass safely, b. the overtaking motorcycle is not operated at a speed in excess of 10 miles per hour when overtaking or passing the stopped vehicle or vehicles, and c. conditions permit continued reasonable and prudent operation of the motorcycle while lane filtering.
