Fort Cobb Fuel Authority, headquartered in Eakly, is a natural-gas distribution company that serves 3,864 residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers, records reflect.
FCFA sells natural gas to customers in Beckham, Blaine, Caddo, Greer, Harmon, Haskell, Hughes, Jackson, Pittsburg, Stephens and Washita counties. Towns in those counties served by FCFA include Binger, Eakly, Gracemont, Lookeba, Velma, rural Carnegie, rural Fort Cobb and rural Hydro.
A sister company, the LeAnn Division, provides natural gas in Kay, Logan, Nowata, Osage, Pawnee and Washington counties. Towns served in those areas include Jennings, Hallett, Mulhall, Newkirk and Shidler.
Navitas is the “affiliated operator” of the Fort Cobb and LeAnn divisions, according to Andrew Scribner, a senior regulatory analyst with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission’s Public Utility Division.
The Navitas Companies serve a number of cities, towns and counties in Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee and Kentucky. Apparently Navitas also provides natural gas to WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Corporation Commission records indicate.
