From staff reports The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced the availability of low-interest physical loss loans through the Farm Service Agency which can help producers repair or replace damaged or destroyed physical property essential for farming, including livestock losses.
Property examples include essential farm buildings, real estate f ixtures, equipment, livestock, perennial crops, food bearing trees and harvested or stored crops and hay.
Grayson County, Texas, was impacted by flash flood, hail and high winds on May 9, making it one of the available areas for reimbursement. Other contiguous counties include Collin, Cooke, Denton, and Fannin within Texas, and Bryan, Love, and Marshall counties within Oklahoma.
