KIOWA COUNTY – Voters who need absentee ballots for the upcoming municipal and Caddo Kiowa Technology Center elections must submit their request to the Kiowa County Election Board no later than 5 p.m. March 17, Election Board Secretary Terri Meinert said in a news release.
Absentee voting available to all voters, and applications can be submitted in several ways, Meinert said.
“In Oklahoma, no excuse is needed to vote by absentee ballot, and it’s easy to apply!” she said. “Vot- Applications are available at the election board office, 201 N. Lincoln in Hobart, or they can be downloaded at oklahoma.gov/ elections.
Applicants are the only ones who can submit their applications, Meinert said. She said it is illegal to submit an application for another person, and voters who turn in their applications in person at the election board will be asked to provide proof of their identity.
