FREDERICK, Md. - Confidence is rising for job seekers in 2026.

According to a survey conducted by iHire, 50% of the 1,400 people surveyed said they were “very confident” about finding a quality job in 2026. Compared to only 9% who were “very unconfident.”

More than half (53%) of participants said they expect salaries in their industry to increase in 2026, while 30% believe salaries will stay the same.

“It’s reassuring to see that job seekers are optimistic in the wake of so much uncertainty around the labor market,” said iHire President and CEO Steve Flook.
