Numunu Martinez Joint Venture Receives $7.2 M Nasa demolition contrac

LAWTON – A local tribally- owned joint venture between Comanche Nation Enterprises Inc. and Numunu Martinez recently announced the award of a $7.2 million demolition contract at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

The announcement is in the February 2026 edition of The Comanche Nation News. The project spans 730 days and will involve the demolition of 48 structures at the space center and the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The project is part of NASA’s ongoing modernization eorts.

Overall scope of the work to be performed includes:

•Demolition of facilities within an active spaceport environment.

•Abatement and management of hazardous and regulated materials.

•Site remediation and environmental compliance.

•Utility identi ation, isolation and disconnection.

•Safe debris removal and disposal in accordance with NASA requirements.
