“This is probably one of the most consequential State Superintendent races in recent Oklahoma history,” Pleasant said. “Following the resignation of former Superintendent Ryan Walters and his high-proled tenure, Southwest Oklahoma voters have a critical opportunity to hear directly from candidates about the future direction of public education in our state.”
Members of the public who wish to have a question addressed during the forum may submit questions in advance by emailing education@ comanchegop.org.
The event will be held at the Elgin Public Schools Performing Arts Center, located at 520 K St.
The forum is open to the public and is intended to give voters an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates about their priorities for Oklahoma’s public education system.
