The City of Lawton will hold two public hearings on the proposed Consolidated Plan for Federal Fiscal Years (FFY) 2026-2030 and the first-year Annual Action Plan for FY2026.
The hearings will be conducted in accordance with the citizen participation plan and are intended to provide Lawton residents and members of the City Planning Commission an opportunity to review the proposed plans, provide comments, and participate in development of the final documents.
The Consolidated Plan for FFYs 2026-30 serves as the city’s five-year planning document and establishes goals and priorities for community development projects and funding. The accompanying Annual Action Plan for FY2026 outlines projects and activities proposed during the first year of the five-year plan.
Goals identified within the Consolidated Plan are based on feedback received through the 2026 Community Needs Survey, which was conducted in March and April this year.
Public hearings will be held during the following meetings:
•The Lawton City Planning Commission meeting June 11 at 1:30 p.m. in Wayne Gilley Auditorium at City Hall.
•The City Council meeting June 23 at 6 p.m. in Wayne Gilley Auditorium.
During the hearings, the proposed Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan will be presented, public comments will be received, and approval of the plans will be requested. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the public input process.
