Downtown overlay project begins today

DUNCAN – Beginning today, the city-approved contractor Overland Corp. will begin an overlay project in downtown Duncan that will resurface Willow and Walnut avenues between Seventh and 10th streets, and 10th Street from Main Street to Bois D’Arc Avenue. All work is anticipated to be completed by Oct. 31, weather permitting. Residence access remains available for the duration of the project, city officials said Monday in a news release. “City of Duncan appreciates your patience and requests that drivers use caution in this area, watch for workers and observe all detour and warning signs,” they said.
