DALLAS, Texas - Vonlane, the Texas-based premium transportation company, announces its first entry into another state with the launch of service between Dallas and Oklahoma City.
Beginning Jan. 6, business and leisure travelers will have a new option with Vonlane’s daily direct motorcoach service.
“When Southwest announced that they were ending non-stop service between Dallas and Oklahoma City, we knew that we needed to fill the void as quickly as possible,” notes Alex Danza, Founder & CEO of Vonlane.
“Adding this route was always in our plans, but when we realized that travelers would be left without a direct option, we kicked into high gear to ensure service was in place on Jan. 6.”
Vonlane’s signature experience — including a spacious cabin, leather chairs, more than 350 hours of on demand digital media, complimentary Wi-Fi and snacks and onboard crew service — has created a loyal following of travelers throughout Texas.
“We’re so excited to bring Vonlane to a new market and introduce Oklahoma City passengers to a ‘private jet on wheels’ experience,” says Danza.
Vonlane’s Oklahoma City terminal will be at the Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel located at 1 North Broadway Avenue.
Vonlane motor coaches will depart and arrive in Dallas at the Doubletree Hotel across from Love Field.
Fares are flat rate $99 one way or $198 roundtrip service. Vonlane’s schedule for motorcoach travel between Dallas and Oklahoma City will begin on Jan. 6.
The debut schedule features 21 departures weekly from each city:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: Dallas and Oklahoma City at 6:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 2:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
Tuesday: Dallas at 6:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.; Oklahoma City at 10:15 a.m. and 6:15 p.m.
Saturday: Dallas at 9 a.m.; Oklahoma City at 1 p.m.
Sunday: Dallas and Oklahoma City at 1p.m. and 5 p.m.
Vonlane was launched in May 2014 to give travelers an alternative to the delays and interruptions that accompany short-haul flights and the hassles of driving one’s own vehicle.
The coach service has been particularly well-received by business travelers, such as attorneys, accountants, lobbyists, and other service providers looking to bill their time and expertise in a quiet, comfortable, and productive environment. Leisure travelers love the luxurious, first-class travel experience at fares below the cost of commercial air travel.
