LAWTON - Lawtonians living in Ward 5 were surprised last week by a statement released by Lawton City Councilman Dwight Tanner.  Tanner, who has served Ward 5 since July 2013, has decided to not seek reelection for the seat during the Sept. 10 Special Election.

LAWTON – It’s a very hot July summer day and Eddie Hamra’s grandson, Kipton Wright, is hanging out at the family business. Eddie just finished up a meeting about expanding Edward’s Men’s Wear into the e-commerce world and Kipton wanted to get his attention for a snack. “Jiddie,” Kipton said.
