City to host public hearing on unallocated CIP funds

LAWTON — Lawton residents are invited to the first of two public hearings to discuss how to use unallocated funds generated from the Propel CIP during fiscal year 2022/2023.  The meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 25 at Lawton City Hall.

CCIDA approves new $1M Goodyear loan

LAWTON — The Comanche County Industrial Development Authority recently made a million-dollar pledge to help Lawton’s Goodyear plant finance a $320 million project. The CCIDA voted April 4 to approve a $1 million loan to Goodyear, which would be spread out over five years.
