Conservation Commission cancels monthly meeting

OKLAHOMA CITY – The April 6 regular monthly meeting of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission has been canceled “due to the evolving COVID-19 public health threat,” agency spokesman Bryan Painter announced.
While celebrating the organization’s 13th anniversary, Great Plains Republican Women gave gifts to two local beneficiaries – Pregnancy Resource Center of Southwest Oklahoma and the Veterans Center. GPRW also announced it is raising funds for another campaign by raffling off this custom made queen-size quilt. The group lends its support to organizations throughout the community and promotes conservative principles. Ledger photo by Curtis Awbrey
