Survey: Most call the $15 minimum wage a ‘job killer’

Most business leaders in the United States do not support a federally-mandated $15 minimum wage, according to a recent survey. The survey, conducted by Express Employment Professionals, also revealed only 57% of jobseekers endorse the $15 minimum wage.
The U.S. House of Representatives voted on a symbolic bill last week to raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $15 per hour by 2025. It was symbolic because it was clear from the beginning that the bill would not be heard in the Senate.
