Study: State workplace injury cases level with national rate

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma’s workplace injury and illness rate is on par with the rest of the country, according to a private industry sampling conducted in 2020 by the state Labor Department. The incidence rate per 100 full-time employees was 2.

Comanche County Republicans are set to host their inaugural Liberty Chili Fest from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 6 next to the tennis courts at the Kid Zone Pavilion on 38th Street in Lawton. Chili will be provided at the free event, along with fixin’s, drinks and games.

LAWTON — Lawton Public Library is celebrating Picture Book Month with a picture book contest in November.   Contestants are asked to write and illustrate a winter-themed picture book, according to a news release from the library. Entries must be on paper measuring 17 inches long by 11 inches high.
