Lawton Phil to open its new season with virtual concert

LAWTON – Opening Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra’s 59th concert season, violinist David Kim will perform Vivaldi’s 1723 inspirational concerto Four Seasons. Playing violin since age 3, Kim went on to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Juilliard School.

Lawton Phil cancels its July concert, ends season

LAWTON – The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted the Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra to cancel the July 18 concert, abruptly ending LPO’s 2019-2020 season. The Concerto Games’ final concert featuring 73 noted musicians was originally scheduled for April 25 at the McMahon Memorial Auditorium.
